Do we even care about the Maxima anymore? The altima seems just as large and full of features now.

1. Looks like an Optima in that video thumbnail

2. Interior is a rip-off of the new Accord but much improved

3. I think Nissan made a mistake of not offering the VC-Turbo +AWD combination as a good alternative to a Subaru legacy 3.6R, perhaps it will mean people wont buy a Maxima and they’re afraid of price creep?

4. Speaking of which they should stop being so afraid of stepping on the toes of Infiniti and give the Maxima AWD already (And stop calling it 4DSC for Godsake!). It would be a good competitor to the Charger V6 AWD version.

5. None of this really matters as both these segments are shrinking rapidly, even for the leaders from Honda and Toyota.

Maxima: it’s like the Altima but with the added benefit of torque steer.

Looks great for the rental car fleet.

And glad im not the only one not a fan of tacked on tablet dashes

And I would still stick with the Accord because the manual option, though the Mazda 6 looks the best. The manual still sticks out the most to fix boring commutes. But  this is an enthusiast site.
